Gorditas Aguascalientes: A Tex-Mex Delight in Houston

Always taste home made. They always welcome you here like family. Been here a few times and never had any issues. Recommend the enchiladas

Me and my daughter absolutely love this spot to eat Tortas de fajitas. The service is exceptional, always checking in, friendly and good conversation. Recently bought my husband and he had an Huarache and he loved it. He said it reminded him of his mothers cooking. He did not like the Gordita or the Taco de lengua. Their lemonade is really good not too sweet and hits the spot everytime !

The service was amazing I walked in was greeted and about to be taken to a table till I asked I could place an order to go which they happily obliged. I ordered a Mexican coke and the carne guisada plate. The waiter then was ran off to start getting my to go plate set up when he graciously offered a cup of ice to go along with my soda which I didn’t even think of which made the drink a lot more enjoyable later when I made it home. The food was amazing the meat was soft and tender and it was a really great portion leaving me stuffed and ready to hit the bed. I will be back to try more off the menu.

They have wonderful wait staff here. Very professional & respectful. I ordered the Tex Mex Enchilada plate that comes with 3 chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans for $12.95 Very delicious & filling.

This is an awesome place to visit if you're looking for traditional Mexican gorditas. My family and I tried several different dishes, including gorditas made with various types of meat. The standout was definitely the chicharrón gordita, which was very good. However, the enchilada plate and carbon tacos were just okay—not the best. I rated the service 3 stars because the waitress had a bit of a bad attitude. Fortunately, the owner, a nice older lady, made us feel at home.

This place has not changed in years. Very clean and organized. The employees are very professional and friendly. The food has always been really good! There are many options on the menu. My grandparents used to live down the street. Since I a teenager I have been here often. The wait staff are very good at repeating the orders and checking to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction. The food is authentic I've had no complaints here. On peak hours parking may be tough. Yet, well worth the hassle. I don't know about you. If a place is empty during rush hours, well that speaks for itself. I will definitely be back,!

All the workers are so nice and polite. Never on a rush or trying to kick you out like I'm other restaurants. The food is hot and delicious. Thank you so much for the good service yall always give us.
